Emergency 

The emergency number in Georgia is 112, which was established in 2012 to create an efficient emergency management system. 
This number should only be used in case of an emergency, which includes situations where police, fire/rescue, or medical assistance is needed. When calling 112:
 it is important to provide the operator with information about the type and location of the incident, as well as the name and surname of the person making the call.

 The emergency number can be accessed from both landlines and mobile phones, regardless of whether the phone has a SIM card or is turned off.

The "112" mobile application is available for free to anyone in Georgia and can be downloaded and used on IOS and Android platforms. The app provides a major benefit of identifying the location of the user and is available in Georgian, English, and Russian languages. Safety

When planning a trip, safety is a top priority for any traveler. Fortunately, Georgia is widely recognized as one of the safest countries in the world, consistently ranking high in safety indexes. In 2022, Georgia was ranked 14th in the world for safety by NUMBEO, while Tbilisi was named the safest place in Europe by European Best Destinations in 2020, and Batumi took 7th place in the same ranking. The warm hospitality of the locals contributes to a sense of security throughout Ajara, but it's important to remember that criminal activity cannot always be prevented.
